Here ye! Here ye! Here ye! Princess Jessica, founder and CEO of Chick Lit Café, has just received the Liebster Blog Award!
A big thanks goes out to my fellow book blogger and audiobook aficionado over at Lip Gloss and Literature for humbly bestowing Chick Lit Café with this grand honor! If you’ve never heard of it, the Liebster Award is given to encourage, highlight and congratulate small bloggers (200 followers or less) across the web.
Now on to the rules:

I tried to explain that one to my husband and he just didn’t get the fashion reference! I think your mom and my dad are just secretly envious of our awesome blogs and just pretent they’re bored out of jealousy! At least your dad gets it – that’s too cute!
Thank you. I always wondered where these awards come from. I wish I could say I thought long and hard on a super awesome blog name, but I was watching Legally Blonde and Elle made some reference about how someone thought something was the new black and I was like ‘Yup, that’s it…’. Haha! And I’m pretty sure you hit it dead on with them being jealous. Not everyone can be creative geniuses like us. ; )

Sometimes great thoughts just come to creative geniuses like ourselves out of nowhere! Two of my most favorite pink-infused movies are Legally Blonde and Clueless? When in doubt, I ask myself, “what would Elle Woods do?
I haven’t seen Clueless in forever! Now I want to go watch it… I wonder if Netflix has it?!
You must revisit Clueless! It’s a timeless classic – right up there with Dazed and Confused and Revenge of the Nerds!
